I have generic elective subject ( chemistry) in 4 semesters of BSC (hons ) biochemistry, Panjab University chandigarh. Should I get admission MSc hons in chemistry form panjab University chandigarh without any enterance exam???
hi,
M.sc in chemistry is 2 years of duration, total seat intake is 17 at panjab university.
however the eligibility criteria for admission is
a) B.Sc. (Hons School) graduates of Panjab University , B.Sc. (Hons. School) in Chemistry from Department of Chemistry, Panjab University.
OR
b) B.Sc. (Pass or Hons.) examination with 50% marks from any recognized University with (i) Chemistry in all the three years/six semesters and (ii) any two science subjects during two years/four semesters during graduation.
c) B.Sc. (Hons.) in any of the subject under Choice-based Credit System with 24 Credits in Chemistry as Generic Elective Subject.
however since you have chemistry only at 2 years of bachelors studies you donot belongs to option a OR option b , however you you have studied chemistry and have 24 credits under cbcs system in total of three years, then you are eligible to apply.
admission is based on pucet pg entrance test.
