Hi Srinivasa,
As,all NIT’s have their autonomous rules.So, I can’t say about all NITs but in some NITs you need to show it only once at the time of admission. I also heard that in some NITs income certificate needs to shown on every 6 months or so.Feel free to ask if you have any more queries.
