If you want to use your caste certificate, you can not use it in Maharashtra. AS to be eligible to use in Maharashtra, candidate must fulfill the following criteria -
The candidate must complete the 10 +2 higher secondary education from the same state. Even if you have caste certificate of UP, you should complete your 10 + 2 from UP. Here you are not eligible for 85 % state quota. But you can definitely apply in 15% ALL INDIA QUOTA in UP.
In all india quota, you can apply in the 15 % government seats of UP colleges and also anywhere across the country. In this way, you can apply in UP, and can get benefit with your caste certificate.
Apart from this, apply in all the state colleges from AIQ, you will have a better chance of getting a college.
