I have got 1 k rank in sc and 5k rank in tfw can i take admission only on the basis of my sc rank

Yes definitely and that is the only rule. According to the rules anyone can use his any category rank for admission into any college. But what you cannot do is that you cannot use two categories rank simultaneously to get admitted to any college you want.
