to Calculate GPA into percentage you just need to multiply your GPA into 9.5A person who has scored 10 cgpa then hit means that he is percentage is between 96%-100%. it was done in order to eliminate the hard feelings of losing top ranks. the institute or school which follow grade points then if a no of students secure 10 cgpa then all of them is a topper.
Now if we convert your GPA to marks then it is somewhere between 550-600.
For percentage you just multiply by 9.5 which comes out to be 95%
