Its totally depends on your rank and category in the AEEE exam.

If you fall within one of the following rank ranges, you can get an admission in any of the campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University.

General Quota:- 01 to 10000

State Quota:- 10001 to 22500

ST/ST:- 01 to 25000

It is determined by the state to which one belongs. Because Coimbatore is in Tamil Nadu, TN students are considered locals and can easily get a CS seat at Amrita, even if their rank is around 6000. If you are from another state, you should aim for a rank of approximately 3000, as there are relatively few seats available for non-locals/other state students.

My friend completed his B.Tech. in CSE from 2013 to 2017 at Amrita University in Coimbatore, where he received a 1093 rank. He was from Andhra Pradesh. So campare your rank/category/state and determine which campus you will get.
