People say that  cutoff  has gone down this year. Is it true?

It depends on the difficulty level of the question paper and the top scores. For example, if only a few have a good cut off of 195 or above, then the overall ranking tend to decrease, thus increasing the possibilities for all. But then, in this competitive space, we cannot expect a fall of cut off from 190 to 180. Even if it tends to increase, only 1 or 2 marks would do and not greater than that.
