NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
Dear Student,
You have scored 191 Marks as your NEET Score which are considered among extremely poor and thus there is a little chance for you to get admission in BHMS in Tamilnadu.
As you have not mentioned your category, I consider that you belong to UR/General Category.
The cutoffs of NEET 2018 for BHMS which is 1 of the 14 Medical courses offered by NEET in Tamilnadu are as follows for OBC candidates:
-
Stanley Medical College, Chennai: 325
- Government Medical College, Villupuram: 379
- Government Medical College, Tirunelveli: 353
- Government Medical College, Vellore: 364
- Government Medical College, Omandurar: 312
- Government Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai: 323
- Government Dharmapuri Medical College, Dharmapuri: 302
-
Madras Medical College, Chennai: 376
-
Coimbatore Medical College, Coimbatore: 378
-
Thanjavur Medical College, Thanjavur: 349
Conclusion:
As you can observe that you could not make it to the cutoffs in the medical colleges available in Tamilnadu as your NEET Score perceives to be too low to match the demands of the cutoffs of the past year but you have a slight chance if the cutoffs remain lower not in this but any of the other 14 as well but it would be too long and since this format and juncture cannot hold that much information and words they are not mentioned but you can ask them as separate queries if you want confirmation.
but there is also other option to apply in colleges in other states which have lower cutoffs such as Goa or other states to get admission or to get admission in colleges located abroad as some only require you to give NEET Exam or other colleges which do not require NEET altogether.
the answer to your query is straight and simple that you cannot get a direct in other words sidda admission in any of the 14 courses offered by NEET.
To get admission in any of those 14 Medical courses, you have to go through the Admission and verification Process, Choice filling and other legal and required processes and lastly, confirm your seat and admission in the alloted college and secure it by confirmation.
Otherwise, whether you want direct admission you can skip your NEET Marks altogether and go for abroad universities that do not give admission based on NEET or you can go for other colleges outside of India who does not require the NEET Exam altogether.
And it is prohibited not in Tamilnadu but in the entire region of India to give admission in Medical courses without considering NEET Qualifications as they are offered by NEET and the government and not the Colleges, Universities or institutes but if there are colleges which do this type of prohibited admission, their license can be canceled and the candidates can be expelled and can have to pay the consequences as well and therefore I do not recommend you to follow such path.
Thus I recommend that you should follow your dream career abroad as stated above or you have to follow the admission and verification process to get admission or you can just change your career to another suitable course waiting just for you and we can help you find that as well and if you have any question, query, problem, issue, doubt or difficulty about any of the topic or about career, NEET, AIIMS, JIPMER, Admission and verification process, Hospitals, Doctore, Colleges, etc.; you just need to ask a question as a separate query.
I Consider your query has met with its conclusion.
ALL THE BEST!!
