GUJCET 2018 is conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) for admissions to Engineering and Pharmacy programmes offered by various institutes in the state of Gujarat. The exam was scrapped few years back but made a comeback in 2017.
According to the reports released last year, around 3,300 aspirants scored minus marks in the GujCET 2017. The reason behind so many students scoring negative marking was the introduction of negative marking scheme this in the year 2017. As many as 1,32,391 candidates appeared for GujCET 2017. Out of these, 66,473 candidates took the exam in A group(PCM) while 65,542 appeared in the B group(PCB). The remaining set of students opted for both group A and B(PCM and PCB).
GUJCET 2018 will be a gateway for admissions to all Government, Grantin aid and self-financed institutes in Gujarat under Government quota seats and Management quota.
