In Manipal Entrance Exam to get CS seat it is important to score more than 50% and you get 50% above so I belief that you can get the seat of CS but above 500 marks confirm to getting seat because CS is a highly demand course but there is a hope because you get above 50% marks.

Hey, congratulation for a good score. Now, there are no such statistics of marks vs ranks comparison for this system as this system of marking out of 800 started just an year ago. So you people are the second batch being marked this way. My friend got 519 out of 800 and his rand was between 2500 and 3000. He easily got IT in 3rd or 4th round of counseling. This year the trends may differ slightly but you have got a rough idea for your rank and branch you will get. Still wait for the results!
