I hope this is your first attempt. See I will not be giving you false hopes but with your CAT percentile, you won’t be getting any decent colleges. It will just be loss of money if you go to some pretty average college because whether you believe it or not, India students opt for MBA/PGDM only because of the lucrative salary packages and talking about the present scenario, the economy does not look good. The world economy is facing a slowdown and companies have slowed down their recruitment processes. But do not lose hope. There are several ways or solutions to it.

1. You can always try to appear for CAT the next year and since you have got the initial foundation ready, with 4-5 months of hard work you can easily achieve a decent percentile. You will just have to practice a lot and try giving mocks and mark my words, your percentile will definitely improve.
2. CAT is not the end of the world. There are several other exams which serves as a gateway to pretty reputed colleges. Such as SNAP, TISS-NET, CMAT, MAT, XAT, X-GMT, ATMA, MAH-CET etc,. SIBM-Pune is considered to be a tier 1 institute and with a superb SNAP score, you will get a step ahead in getting yourself admitted into the institute. Besides that, Welingkar, FORE School of Management, BIMTECH Noida, XLRI, XIMB, XISS, XIME  and plenty of such superb colleges won’t mind if you have a bad CAT score. They will look into your XAT Score and in some cases your CMAT score too.
3. If you are done with your MBA interest, you can try for MS in abroad universities or go for banking exams too.

Finally, I would like to say that a single exam is not capable of determining your future and if you have dreamt big then you surely will achieve your goal. You just need to stay focussed and keep your head free from all the doubts. Drink plenty of water. Talk with your parents and teachers and other experienced persons. A fort cannot be made in a day. It requires time and patience. This CAT score won’t matter to you at all if you believe that you are meant for something big. There is no point in getting disheartened. I am sure that you will achieve success in life.
