the eligibility eligibility criteria to appear for the NATA exam is candidate must have passed their 10+2 from any recognized board or equivalent and candidate must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50 percent marks in physics , chemistry and mathematics subjects altogether.

Eligibility Criteria for NATA 2020
Before applying for the examination, candidates must fulfill the required eligibility criteria which are given below:
- Age Criteria: There is no Age limit to apply for National Aptitude Test in Architecture.
- Qualifying Examination: Passed in 10+2 scheme of examination or 10+3 diploma examination. Candidates appearing in 2020 are also eligible to apply for NATA. International Baccalaureate Diploma passed/appearing, after 10 years of schooling with Mathematics as a compulsory subject of examination.
- Qualifying Exam Subjects: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and 10+3 Diploma holders (any stream)/ appearing recognized by Central/ State Government with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
- Qualifying Marks: 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics along with 50% aggregate marks in overall 10+2. 50% aggregate marks in 10+3 Diploma and Mathematics as well. To the candidates who belong to SC, ST, OBC-NCL category or PwD shall be provided a relaxation of 5% marks in aggregate in 10+2 level.
- Art Stream Candidates: Candidates having Art Stream are also eligible if they have qualified Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects conducted by CBSE.

To be eligible to take NATA, If you have passed your Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent exam, having Mathematics as one of the subjects, you need to score a minimum aggregate of 50%.
It is mandatory to have Mathematics as one of the main subjects to appear in 2020 session of NATA.
To become eligible for NATA a candidate is required to fulfill a certain set of eligibility conditions. Mentioned below are the predefined criteria set up by COA:
- Candidates must have obtained 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and also overall 50% aggregate score at 10+2 level.
- Candidates who have passed any 10+3 diploma exam with Mathematics as a subject and scored at least 50% marks are also eligible to apply for the exam.
- Students appearing in class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are eligible to appear in NATA, however, their result will be declared valid after fulfilling the above criteria.
- The marks cannot be rounded off, as if the candidate has secured 49.9% marks in his/her qualifying exam then the marks would be counted as 49.9% only.
- The lower age limit for appearing in NATA has been waived. However, the candidate has to comply with any age constraints that may be specified by the respective Counselling/ Admission Authority.
- Scores are valid for a period of 12 months i.e. 1 year from the date a candidate appears for NATA exam.
- For students of International/ NRI status, NATA 2020 Eligibility remains the same as it is for the Indian nationals. There is no separate set of Eligibility parameters set for international/NRI candidates who want to appear for the exam.

On January 31, the officials announced eligibility requirements for NATA 2020 with the brochure. Candidates who wish to appear on NATA must meet the eligibility requirement set.
The eligibility criteria for NATA as follows
The candidates should have passed 10+2 level examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) and also at least 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination.
Candidates who have passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate will also eligible.
As you have said that you got 45% in PCM, you're not eligible for NATA.
