Dear student,
IIT - Indian Institute of Technology is one of the reputed institutions having it's name in whole world.
The admissions in iit are purely given on the basis of JEE advanced rank. And for that, you have to qualify JEE Mains examination, then you will be eligible to give jee advanced exam.
The admission in nits, iiits, gftis ,etc. are purely given on basis of jee mains rank.
Now till last year, there was a class 12th eligibility criteria that students must have to pass their class 12 with 75% aggregate marks and it was mandatory till 2019.
But from this year due to this covid-19 pandemic the class 12th passing eligibility criteria has been given a relaxation, and now you just have to pass your class 12th exam and there is no such criteria this year that you must secure 75% in a class 12th board exams.
So, that means if you have secured a good rank in JEE advanced or jee mains then you can definitely get an iit or nits respectively, even if you scored just 57% in your class 12th exams.
If you want nits or any other colleges (except iits) then you have to score a good rank in jee mains, and as per your jee mains rank you will be given admission in nits and other colleges too.
But for getting seat in iit you must have to secure a good rank in jee advanced.
And also note that, with your jee advanced rank, you cannot get any nits. The admission in nits are purely given on basis of jee mains rank.
Also you must mention your jee mains or jee advanced rank in question because without these ranks I cannot predict any colleges by myself. So please mention your jee mains or jee advanced rank alongwith your category.
Now if you have secured rank in any of these exams, then for getting the colleges, you must have to apply in josaa counseling by registering and filling the choices available on basis of your preference order. And after that you have to lock the choices.
After that if you got allotted any seat in josaa then you can accept that seat by paying the seat acceptance fees, and produce the required documents for verification. After your document verification, you will get the provisional admission in that particular college.
