Eligibility Criteria

• To fulfill the NEET eligibility criteria 2018, candidate must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually.

• The candidates belonging to General Category should score a aggregate minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology in their Class 12 or HSC examination.

• Candidates who belong to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes (OBC) should score a aggregate minimum of 40% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology in their Class 12 or HSC examination.

• For persons with locomotor disability of lower limbs, a minimum of 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH are required in aggregate across Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology.

• From 2018, it is likely that the NEET eligibility criteria will require candidates to have studied Biology as a core subject in both Classes 12 and 11, rather than as an additional subject in Class 12 alone.
