Hello,

With a score of 66.33% in the 2024 HSC board exam, you stand a fair chance of gaining admission into colleges in Mumbai, though securing seats in top-tier institutions might be challenging.

Colleges such as KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce, Wilson College, or Sathaye College often have varied cut-offs based on programs and demand. For popular courses like BMS or B.Com, the cut-offs might be higher, generally ranging between 75-85% in top colleges, but for less competitive programs, you may find cut-offs around 60-70%.

Predicting the 2025 cut-offs depends on factors like student performance that year, course demand, and seat availability. It's advisable to check individual college admissions updates and apply to a mix of colleges with slightly higher and lower cut-off expectations.

Hello Wansh,

With a 66.33% score in the HSC exam, you’ll likely have options in Mumbai colleges, but the specific college you’ll get depends on a few factors like cut-off trends, reservation category, and the course you’re interested in. Each college’s cut-off varies yearly based on demand and student performance, so it’s hard to predict exact cut-offs for 2025.

Typically, for competitive courses in popular colleges like St. Xavier’s, Jai Hind, and KC College , cut-offs are usually higher, often above 80%. However, colleges like Bhavans College, KJ Somaiya, and Rizvi College might have cut-offs closer to or below your score for some courses, especially in the later admission rounds.

To get an accurate idea:

  1. Check last year’s cut-offs for the colleges and courses you’re interested in; they usually give a good indication of expected cut-offs.

  2. Keep an eye on the 2025 admission updates on the official websites or CAP (Centralized Admission Process) portal for Mumbai University, as cut-offs and admission rounds will be posted there.

This approach will help you plan which colleges to target based on their cut-off history and your score.
