See the normal criteriaof board marks for admission through JEE Mains and JEE Advanced into NITs and IITs is as follows:

Candidate must have minimum of 75% in 10+2 science exam from any recognised educational board. But due  to the covid-19 pandemic this criteria has been relaxed.

Now ONLY for the year 2020 the candidates must have a pass marks in their 10+2 exam and the requires cutoff for JEE in respected colleges.

Now If you had enrolled for JEE mains this year you fall under the new category .

If you are trying to give this exam  next year wait for the guidelines ....

Thank you , Hope you got the answer

Hi ! Kunal. Yes, this year you can apply for JEE( Main + Advance ) 2020( For admission in IIT/ IIEST/NIT/GFTI etc.) both because due to this lockdown and Pandemic, Central Government has been waived 75% & 65 % in 12th Board to this year. You just only need to be show your Passing Marks Certificate during apply for JEE Mains 2020. Please remember that this rule has been waived off ONLY FOR THIS YEAR. Okay Kunal Good Luck for your Exam.

Hope this will help you.

hey,

i hope you are doing well

from this year percentage criteria is removed that is you are no longer supposed to obtain a minimum aggregate of 75 percent or 65 percent (for reserved category) in your 12th standard in order to get admission in NITs , IITS and GFTIs , you just need a passing certificate of your 12th standard. , if you clear the jee mains exam you will be eligible to appear for JEE advanced as well.

hope this helps!
