Even if you belong to the home state quota is you belong to Gujarat for nit Suratkal then also it seems difficult for you to get admission in your preferred college.

Hi Vittal with your category rank which we have mentioned in the query as 6978 you might have a chance to get a seat in NIT Surathkal but it all depends upon the availability of the seat as you would be knowing that the csab round is near and if there is seat available in the branch of EEE then go for that.
