It is hard to say because in some cases they can't be consider or in some cases they may consider. For you it's the matter of only ONE mark but for them this is the eligibility criteria for which each and every student have to fullfill. So if you get the seat in VIT then take it is God gift if you can't get it then think that more other good colleges are waiting for you rather than this college.
