It depends on your category. Let me assume that you are from general category and you are not a resident of Pondicherry.

For UR Non-Pondicherry candidates, there are 65 seats available (50 in Pondy and 15 in Karaikal). So, the top 65 rankers are safe.

If you look at the AIIMS and JIPMER merit list, several toppers appear in both list. So, I can assume that about 30–35 candidates will skip JIPMER to enter AIIMS New Delhi.

So, in my opinion, anybody within the top 100 will get a seat in JIPMER under UR catergory. Depending on the candidates moving to other colleges, this number may still come down to about 1 50–200 .
