It depends on the preferences you kept, while filling your choices, because cutoff changes every year and also depends on the number of students applied for the category and the college.

Hello,

Cut off changes every year depending on factors such as total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. And the seat allotment is based on total number of candidates applied, category of the candidate, preferences of institute/Branch, cut off and seat availability. The cut off is different for each branch and institute. You need to select more number of institutes and branch in which you are interested to get seat to avoid disappointment of not getting a seat. Based on the previous year cut off in round 6 of JoSAA counselling here is the list of IITs in which you have chances of getting seat under SC category

  • Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar: Civil Engineering
  • Indian Institute of Technology Bombay: Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science
  • Indian Institute of Technology Delhi: Chemical Engineering
  • Indian Institute of Technology Indore: Mechanical Engineering
  • Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur: Chemical Engineering
  • Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur: Aerospace Engineering

Cut off is subjected to change, it may increase or decrease depending on factors such as total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. So it may increase or decrease this year based on above mentioned factors.
