I have got 80 percentile in jee mains and 70 percent aggregate in pcm ...can I get admission in chemical branch at thapar institute

If you are from general category As a basic condition, candidates appearing/ have passed class 12 with minimum 75% marks can appear for JEE Main 2019.So you are not eligible for counselling in any govt. colleges

For SC/ST/PWD candidates-  65% marks in aggregate.

If you are from other category than general, then you are eligible for counselling.

For Thapar University 12th mark requirement is 65, and if you did your 12th from any school in punjab you will easily get chemical in first list of online counselling based on jee mains out state can be a boundary line case as per my understanding
