I have got 81.92 percentile in jee mains . can I get nit Surathkal any good branches through CSAB counselling ST category hs karnataka (female)

Hi,

Based on your percentile , your ST Category rank would be around 3100+. If we look at the cutoff of NIT Surathkal, The closing rank in last round of JOSAA Councelling was around 2800 for Female students in Mechanical Branch. Last year,only few seats were there in Special round. So if NIT Surathkal had any seat left for special round, then you had a chance to get that seat because the closing rank for special round is more than your expected rank. Last year only Civil Engineering branch was there in Special round 1.
