Hello Isha!
First of all congratulations, as you scored good marks in board but still I am sorry to say that they are not sufficient to get admission in DU to pursue BBA or bcom honours..
Other than DU there are also many other colleges you can go for them through management quota.
All the best..
Congrats for scoring such a good marks in 22th PCM.
For taking admission in BBA in DU, you need to appear for an entrance exam DU JAT. It is the only way that you can take admission in DU for BBA.
Admission in DU for the course of B.Com Hons is done on the basis of marks scored in 12th. As you scored 85% which was an aggregate of 5 subjects, you need to calculate the percentage score of best four subjects.
First of all you need to have maths in class 12th in order to become eligible for bcom honoours. The admission in Delhi University is done on the basis of merit.
So during the time of admissions the colleges will announce their cutoff .
Delhi university will be giving admissions after calculating bfs(Best four subjects) marks and will not consider the actual percentage the student has achieved in class 12th.
The student can take admission in the respective colleges once their bfs(best four subjects) marks match the cutoffs announced by the colleges.
CALCULATING BEST FOUR SUBJECTS
The candidates must have studied and passed mathematics at the qualifying exam for admission to honours in economics and commerce. For admission to honours in any language course, an advantage of 2% in the best four percentage will be given to those candidates who have studied the elective language. In case a candidate has not studied the language at qualifying exam and is seeking admission to honours in that language, he or she will be given a disadvantage of 5% in the best four percentage.
