I have got 86.8%(overall) in 12th. Can i get admission in bsc zoology in delhi university?

Hi, in order to seek admission in this course you must pass your 10+2 examinations and secure 55% or more in an aggregate of 3 subjects i.e physics/chemistry/biology/bio technology and you must pass in one compulsory language i.e english with 50% marks. Admission is merit based for this course.
Last year the cut offfs started around 95% and the lowest they reached for general category was 89% so unfortunately your admission seems quite dicy.
you can look for other colleges as back up in case it seems that its getting difficult to seek admission in DU. Good luck

But do delhi university seeks admission on the basis of overall percentage or best four?

Hi, admission in DU are based on best of four percentage and not overall percentage. So if your best of four calculation is above 89% then you have a chance of getting admission in DU.Good luck
And as i m a science student. I have heard that for science students the best 4 subject is fixed ie (phy chem bio eng) by delhi university? Is that true? Or i could take any 4of my subjects to calculate the best 4?
Hi, English, physics and chemistry are generally fixed. Adding Biology/bio technology or mathematics depends on the course you are opting for.One language subject is compulsoryOne subject I'm which you wish to seek admissionThe other two subjects should be academic/ elective subjects. If you are opting for science courses then you cannot include subjects physical edu in best of four. If you wish to opt for computer science as a course only then you can include CS or IP in your best for four.So the subjects that you can include are dependent on the course which you opt for.
