DU JAT final result is calculated after taking into account both the class 12th results and Entrance merit. In the overall score,65% of the entrance test and 35%of qualifying examination are taken into consideration. Candidates who scores the maximum in the aggregate of the two elements,is ranked highest.

Shaheed Sukhdev College generally intakes candidates with ranks upto 150-160 . This figure changes every year depending upon the result and merit. Previous Years toppers had 76-80percent JAT score  and 80-90 overall score. Accordingly the ranks are distributed.
