87.564 percentile is not enough to get admission in NIT OR IIIT because it means that nearly 12 percent students score more than you and when you calculate your approx rank it comes out to be nearly 80-90 thousand ( not fixed can be change depending upon the upcoming conditions and exact number .)

So I would suggest to score more in April attempt and secure 98-100 percentile so that you have many options with you .
