It depends upon the JEE Main and JEE Advance cut offs, If You manage to qualify the exam by achieving the cut off, You can apply for JOSAA Counselling. It should be noted the cut off for EWS/SC/ST/FEMALES/OBC category is lower than the general category

If you manage to qualify JEE Main Cutoff, You would be eligible for JEE Advance which is the intake exam for IITs as mentioned above.

However It is usually advised to fill the choices as per the preference of colleges and departments, for example CSE in NIT Trichy is your priority followed by CSE in NIT Warangal, you can fill CSE at NIT Trichy at serial number 1 and CSE at NIT Warangal at serial number 2 and so on and so forth. However to get any NIT, you must have qualified JEE Mains and to get any IIT, you must have qualifies JEE Advanced

But the previous cut offs of colleges should be taken in consideration, it is better to research over the cut off of colleges then make a preference list of colleges and fill accordingly

For the college preferences and the courses provided by these colleges and to know which colleges participate in the JOSAA counselling, please go to the below mentioned link: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/josaa-participating-institutes/amp

Hello ch. Bhaskar

With this percentile score your approximately rank will be more than 1 lakhs (it is only on based on January; it may increase after April exam result).

With this rank it will be not possible to get admission in good colleges.

You can go in state government colleges or in good private colleges ( some are better than some of NIT; IIIT s).

But I would suggest you to score better and try to improve your score; if you are giving April exam.

So good luck

Hi,

I'm sorry to say that, your complete percentile score is below the rank which requires  for admission in iit and nit.but there is some govt state engineering colleges so you may go for them.

Hope this will help you.

Good luck.

Yes there will be a chance for you. If you're rank between 6000-21000 because the opening rank for iiits is about 6000 and closing rank for some iiits about 21000 .so if your AIR rank between these ,then definitely you have a chance.
Good luck.
