I have got 93% in PCM. Can i get admission in DU maths. Hons.?

Hi, DU offers two mathematics courses, one is B. Sc(hons) Mathematics and B. Sc mathematical sciences.In order to apply for B. Sc(hons) Mathematics, you must pass 10+2 with 50% marks in mathematics and an average 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination, i.e 12th board examination. Admission to this course is through merit and you best of four should include one language, maths and 2 best elective/academic subjects.

Last year the cut offs started between 96-97% in the first cut off list. With the rising competition, admission to top colleges with 93% is quite unlikely but yes you can expect to get admission in good colleges by second or the third list.
