i have got a govt Bds seat in kcet counseling second round, i have paid the college fees now there is a entry for yes or No if i press yes and confirm my seat will i be eligible to try for a better college in mop ip round

The following candidates are eligible to participate in Karnataka NEET UG 2021 Counselling Mop- Up round

• Candidates who have exercised options but aren't allotted a seat in first round
• Candidates who have selected choice 3 in first round and were not allotted a seat in second round
• Candidates who are not allotted a seat in second round

The following candidates are not eligible to participate in Mop-Up round

• Candidates who have selected choice 1, choice 2, choice 4, allotted but not given choice in first round are not eligible
• Candidates who have selected Choice 2 in First Round and who Upgraded / retained same seat Joined / not joined / cancelled are not eligible
• Candidates who have selected Choice 3 in First Round and who were Allotted - Joined / not joined / cancelled are not eligible
• Freshly allotted in Second round are not eligible
• Candidates who have not given options Both in First and Second Round are not eligible

Considering the given criteria you are not eligible to participate in Mop-Up round whether you confirm your seat or not. So if you want to retain the seat you need to confirm your seat allotment and pay the prescribed fee and report at the allotted institute. If you do not confirm your seat you will loose the seat allotted and also you cannot participate in Mop-Up round.

After choice filling of seats and colleges in K CET counselling you have receive but not have joined j the respective choice of college then you can  attend mop up round for better colleges for BDS course. But if you join then you are not eligible for  to attend in mop   for option giving round in  better colleges for BDS course. As you have got the seat allotment in second round of counselling of kcet common entrance test for BDS seats if you not join the choice of college seat then you are eligible for attending mop up round of KCET counselling for better choice of seat in better colleges.
