I have got a rank of 5715 in SRMJEE, I applied for CS core but didn't get it in the first round. Is there a chance of me getting it if I put the same preference again in the second iteration or should I go for a specialisation.

Dear aspirant,
As you have mentioned that you got 5715 rank in SRMJEE and considering you have applied for cs core and you haven't got your allotment in the first round, I would suggest that for specialisation course AI or ML the cut off generally stays under 5k but for cyber security you do have fair chances so in the next iteration give this specialisation branch but if you want cs core then keep it as your first choice and put cyber security in number 2.
