Hey there!

Good thing is that, our education system is entrance based on very rarely do we come across colleges that offer admissions based on the merit.

Just because you a less percentage, it doesn't mean that you won't get anywhere. Apply to every college of your choice and in the subjects that you want to major in. You may apply to B.Sc., B.A., B.Com. or any graduation subject you like and you see your future in.

Work hard for the entrance and make sure that you crack it. And after you get into the college, believe me, nobody will talk about your class 12th percentage anymore.

Good luck!

Hi Akash,

What you should do next totally depends upon you like:-

If you want to go for Government jobs then this much percentage will be enough. You should look forward and prepare for the exam you want to clear.

If you want to go for simple graduation and then for private sector jobs then also it will be enough for you.

But if you want to go for higher studies from foreign or for MBA,M.Tech then you should give Improvement and increase your percentage,as boards marks plays important role for masters selection.

If you want to go for Engineering then also you should have 75% in PCM Aggregate.

I will suggest you to give improvement exam and increase your percentage that will surely help you in future. And 65% may give you some trouble in future.

Hope this will help, please feel free to ask if you have any further queries.

Thank You.

Hey there!
I have completed my Masters from a government college in India and all I was asked was to crack the entrance.
I was the class valedictorian and the topper of my senior secondary school and despite that, my class 12th mark-sheet did not prevent me to sit in the entrance examination. Nobody cares how much anyone scores in the school.
Now that I am applying for another Master program elsewhere, including the Ivies, literally nobody cares about my class 12th mark-sheet. Its almost as good as birth certificate.

You do not have to lose hope. You still have a long journey left. Just decide where your interest lies and choose the future stream accordingly. Al;so check the colleges that you can get at your percentage and choose wisely the best that suits you and promise yourself that you will work with dedication from now on. Let me know the stream that you had given the exam in that is Science, Commerce, or Architecture so that i can guide you in a more better way also tell me the entrance exams you had given if any.

Best wishes. Thankyou.

Akash yadav Hmm I understand. No worries you still can choose bsc courses, with 65% also you will get some average colleges for sure. And after getting into them, give your super best over here so that you cover up all your mistakes of 10+2 and be among the best students in your graduation course so that you get a good placement. Thank you. Best wishes.

Go for private colleges in courses like B.tech which can offer you jobs just after graduation. With this low percentage, getting into government college is almost impossible if no reservations so either you can prepare for some government jobs after 12 or go for graduation
