I have got NIT Warangal M tech Materials Technology. Is it a good? What are the placement opportunities?
GATE 2025: Syllabus | Sample Papers
Hi Shashank,
NIT Warangal has taken up a programme in Materials and System Engineering Design in collaboration with Nonferrous Materials Technology Development Centre (NFTDC). For placements perspective it’s waste, only few people will absorbed in NFTDC after 1 year internship. That too not with good package, it will be around 3–4 LPA, as it not worth for a M.Tech graduate. But many engineering colleges will recruit as Asst. Professor with 5–4 LPA.
When it comes to research it’s a good choice.
I hope this answer was useful.
Good luck!
