Hello Arjun

You have a pretty good rank in your JEE Mains.

Colleges you can try for

1. IIIT KOTA

2. IIIT GUWAHTI

3.IIIT KALYANI , WEST BENGAL

4.IIIT SONEPAT

5.IIIT UNA

6.IIIT SRICITY

7. IIIT VADODRA

8.IIIT KAANCHEEPURAM

9.IIIT NAGPUR

10.IIIT RANCHI

11.IIIT PUNE

12.IIIT BHOPAL

Best IIITs are

IIIT ALLAHABAD

IIIT GWALIOR

IIIT JABALPUR

However cutoff for IIIT Allahabad falls high but still try.

You can apply for all the IIITs and also for some NITs.

Hope it helps

Hello,

Admission in IIITs has nothing do with your Class 12th boards percentage as long as you are fulfilling the boards criteria, i.e. an aggregate of 75 percentage in CBSE Boards or to be in top 20 percentile of the respective boards.

Since you have not mentioned your category here, your query would be answered by considering general candidate here. According to 2018 cutoffs, with a rank of 20564, you can get 4-year B.tech in Computer Science and Engineering at IIIT Bhubaneswar. You can also get 4-year B.tech in Computer Science and Engineering, ECE at IIIT Naya Raipur. These are some very good options for you.

I hope this helps. For any further queries, ask me in the comments.

Also, is it a good course to go for even if I do get admission?

Hello Arjun,Please note that IIIT Bangalore takes admission on the basis of marks obtained in JEE Mains instead of JEE Mains ranks. In year 2018, the cutoff for integrated 5-year M.tech programme in CSE was 182 whereas the final cutoff for integrated 5-year programme in ECE was 170. In year 2017, the cutoff for integrated 5-year M.tech programme in CSE was 196, whereas for integrated 5-year M.tech programme in ECE was 186 marks.I hope this helps. For further queries, ask me in the comments.
