I have graduation in Bsc geology and after that I have post graduation in M.A. in Political Science and also qualified NET and SET for Assistant Professor in Political Science. Is there any issue of getting job of Assistant Professor in Political Science because of M.A. after bsc?
Hello aspirant,
No there is absolutely no problem in doing Bachelor's in science and then applying for lecturer in universities.
The eligibility criteria for assistant professor is
- The candidates should possess the SET/SLET, NET certificate and have a Masters degree in the required field.
- A minimum of 55% marks is required at the post-graduation level.
In your case you have masters in political science hence you are eligible to become assistant professor for political science or related subjects.
I hope this information helps. Good luck.
