Yes it is true.

To be eligible for admission through Medical seats available in All India Quota (AIQ) and AFMC, a candidate has to:

For 15% All India Quota seats - once the NEET 2019 results are declared - the candidate has to register himself/herself with the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.

To apply for MBBS at Armed Forces Medical College, Pune the candidate has to separately register themselves in the apply to AFMC section of the MCC website.

There are no special options to apply for in the NEET application form.
