Yes. During the time of registration for your seat in NIT Hamirpur, you have to produce all the documents like your 12th marksheet, Mains application number, 12th passing certificate, category certificate if you have applied under any reserved category, domicile certificate(home state proof), etc.
All of these documents are needed to be produced at the time of the counseling procedure. If you have taken the gap year, then the
