Look, in regular colleges , you may face difficulties to get admission in MA Bengali after passing graduation in English hons . But , in Open Distance learning, you are eligible to get admission in other subject which is not your hons subject in UG .

The following are the minimal requirements for students seeking an M.A. in Bengali from an Indian university:
A bachelor's degree in arts from a reputable university is required.
Students interested in Bengali language and literature and those interested in maintaining and expanding the language are eligible for admission.
Bengali must have been a major topic in the applicant's undergraduate degree.
For the course, students should have excellent speaking, reading, and writing of Bengali.

- Completed 3 years B.A. Honours/B.A. degree in Bengali or in comparative literature from a recognised university.
