Yes, you can definitely leave your engineering and get admission in the alloted college.
But yes,
If your college is a private, then there might be a bond in your college according to which you might have to pay the whole engineering course fee or whatever penalty amount decided by the college for wasting their seat. Even if your college is government I would suggest you to check with your college management once regarding rules .
Apart from the possibility of paying penalty to your engineering college for leaving engineering in between.
There's no other problem , you can leave, and get admission in medical college you have got.
