Greetings,
Shivam I would suggest being a law student myself and pursuing the same aspiration as yours that it is a very good choice because most at first most of the questions/syllabus of IAS preparation covers BA + LLB subjects so it would be easy for you to prepare for it while completing you graduation itself.
You do not need to go out of your way and struggle to prepare for it specially . You can easily do it / prepare for it during your college and in the last year of your completion of graduation degree , you can apply for the exam and can easily (compared to other courses where you first need to focus on graduation subjects then prepare for IAS syllabus , even if you take BA it will help you a little because all the law related topics would be excluded from preparation) get through it.
Secondly, we can all agree to the fact that cracking IAS is very tough and it might take us years to fulfill this dream of ours , in this situation a degree in law which is a professional degree will always help you work ,earn and not to lose hope.
I hope this might have cleared out your doubts, for further queries or doubts do drop a comment or post another question and I will surely help you out .
