I have just passed 12th and took admission to do BBA and I want to clear CAT exam . Is this the right decision?
Yes, The minimum requirement to appear for CAT is graduation in any stream. In the entrance exam, the syllabus is not related to management study.
It checks your logical and verbal reasoning, Data interpretation skills, and English Language skills.
You have mentioned that you have chosen BBA, so if your main target is cracking the CAT exam then you must start your preparation from the second year itself.
So that you'll get maximum time to get your hand on the difficult areas.
The paper has three sections-Quantitative ability,
Data interpretation and logical reasoning, verbal and reading comprehension.
1.Quantitative aptitute has maths that has been studied till grade 10th with a higher level of difficulty.
2.LR DI is about understanding the information in word or picture format.
3.Verbal ability is to check your language knowledge.
So you'll have to put equal efforts as other candidates from a different stream.
Hope this will help, All the best.!!
