Karnataka High Court has ruled that OCI card holders will be considered on par with Indian Citizens for State Entrance Exams. But NEET is a National Level Entrance Examination. Based on the article https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/karnataka-mbbs-admission , it says only Indian citizens can be qualified for all types of seats except for NRI quota seats. But if you look at the domicile criteria in the same article, it says that the students should have studied in Karnataka for atleast a period of 7 years or students should have passed their 10th and 12th in Karnataka where either of the parents have studied in Karnataka for a minimum period of 7 years. If you look at the date of Judgement, it was in April and last year only Engineering and Allied Medical Sciences Counselling followed this ruling. This year it might be implemented for NEET as well. But before we come to a definite conclusion, let us wait to hear from the authority officially.
This ebook serves as a valuable study guide for NEET exams, specifically designed to assist students in light of recent changes and the removal of certain topics from the NEET exam.
