Hello Aspirant,
Students who don't score well on the GUJCET exam have a lot of other possibilities for colleges. There are numerous great engineering colleges where students can even acquire admission without a GUJCET rank, even if some of the most significant colleges accept admission through the GUJCET rank card.
Attending a private college even after dropping out or in the middle of the year is totally acceptable. A few considerations before enrolling in a private college. The first is placement; make sure placements are appropriate and review placement records from the prior year to obtain a clear understanding.
I understand that you are worried about wasting an year, still if you are confident you can give another chance to attempt the exam again or it is totally okay to join another college even in the middle of the year.
Specific: Check and verify whether the colleges you are searching for are still accepting admissions in the middle of the year.
I hope it helps
Thank You
