See it does not matter whether you have state certificate or central certificate but it should be of similar format as available on the official website of JOSAA which is also mentioned in the link given below :-

Your SC certificate should be of similar format as prescribed in the official website of JOSAA.

But don't worry if you don't have that right now, what you can do is you can apply for the new one because the application process for JEE-Main 2022 is not yet started, so that you can get it as soon as possible and in case if you do not get it by the time you can upload the self undertaking instead of your category certificate which would be provided by National Testing Agency. It declares that you will submit the original and valid caste certificate later on at the time of admission.
