Hey,
The purpose of NEET entrance examination is to provide admissions to students who aspire to pursue the career in BDS or MBBS. So, the basic theme of examination is for the students who are from Biology background. For that purpose, Mathematics is not the part of syllabi of NEET exam.
For complete exam pattern, you can visit NEET Exam .

And what's the basis of including mathematics in your neet exam?. There's no link of mathematics neither there's any use of mathematics in your whole mbbs course. So its better not to burden students with the syllabus of mathematics too.

Greetings

A good suggestion there. But the fact is mathematics as a subject is not needed in MBBS. Mathematics is a vast subject that includes lots of entities not needed anywhere in the MBBS course. The basic three subjects needed for understanding the basics in MBBS are physics, chemistry and biology. The numerical problems in the NEET exam do require a certain level of understanding of basic mathematics but including the subject as whole would create undue pressure on the aspiring candidates.

The fact remains that preparing for the entrance exam is a hectic task. Students toil day and night to prepare for the exam. Including another subject would be too much for the young minds. And that too a subject which they won't need later on.

From your point of view I understand you like the subject but are preparing for NEET exam. It's true that including the subject would put candidates like you at a huge advantage but on the flip side it would jeopardize many others'. To think of the majority it is better that the mathematics subject is excluded from the syllabus of NEET UG exams. For those who really like the subject and wish to pursue a course that gives sufficient importance to Mathematics may go for Engineering or mathematics honours or any other course which included mathematics.

Wish you all the best for your future endeavours.

God bless you.

No, in neet ug there is no syllabus of mathematics.

BUT

Physics numericals and chemistry numerical do contains basic mathematics like of integration , differentiation, logarithm, algebra, trignometry, etc etc.

So have command over these basic topics of mathematics.

Good luck...

Yes this is pretty good proposition but I also think that inspite of complelling students to try another new subject the basic mathematics section of physics shoulod carry a little more weightage so that bothe the purposes get solved simaltaneously. This is because the elementary mathematics chapter od physics class 11 contains the mathematics enough to know for  a medical student.
