It is completely upto you. If you feel keen on pursuing medicine and you are prepared to work very hard during the drop to study for NEET 2019, then go ahead. Many people take a drop to study, but not everyone is successful. You need to have the right study timetable, coaching, and a lot of determination to get through it.
Therefore, you need to decide whether you really want sacrifice a year studying for NEET, or if you want to look at other options. I don't think anyone should make this decision for you, you should think about what you want and what's right for you.

The choice between NEET and btech depends totally om your interest. If you really want to ne a doctor you should definitely give it another try with full preparation and if you want to be an engineer you can go for btech courses.
