I have obc ncl certificate of Central but it's not of the format they prescribed. is it valid in josaa or what should I do now?
Hello Aspirant,
See usually it is not preferred to u[load OBC certificate or any other category certificate other than the prescribed format but if you already did so then you should wait for admissions and counselling procedure and just produce it in front of the authorities and then if they accept it then it is well and good but if they do not then they will provide you some time to get it new in the prescribed format but don't worry your admission will not be cancelled.
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
Hey Candidate,
Every Candidate applying for the Category Stream in JEE like (OBC-NCL/SC/ST), must have a valid Category certificate for Document Verification at nearby centres. Document verification is one of the major task which the officials check very briefly for confirming it's Legitimacy and Originality.
If you have your certificate which may be legally correct and proper, but if it's not of the prescribed format, then it may lead to problems for you at the Verification Center. It's best to get your documents ready in the Prescribed format only, to avoid any chaos at the last moment.
