I have obtained 84.23%ile in CAT 2017. Can I be shorted in any of the colleges like TAPMI, BIM Trichy, LIBA, FORE School of Management?

You may try for PGDM - IB at FORE, for sure. Last year cut off has been 85 for PGDM and 78 for PGDM IB at FORE. LIBA isnt worth trying for (Cut off was 80) as the no. of seats for general is limited due to reservations. BIM Trichy cut off was 80 but better option is IFMR instead of BIM Trichy or LIBA.

Note- IFMR is no more offering PGDM, it is MBA degree now.

Close call for TAPMI but very high chances of calls from all the other mentioned institutes depending on the sectional scored and your academic profile and other factors like work expirience, diversity etc. Prepare well.
