There are some colleges that take admission based on your 12th percentage. While some put that as a factor or eligibility, some colleges really dont pay that attention. Coming to the time of your placements, again not all companies want your 12th marks. But definitely that remains as a factor. If you really want to go hassle free then I would advise you to sit for the betterment examinations. If not possible then just believe in yourself and score a great cgpa in your higher studies. The selection in the companies happen seeing many factors and not just class 12 percentage.

You can get placed in a campany by doing really well in entire engineering course,writing the company test nicely,doing great in interview,etc.

The 12 th percentage will not be given that much importance once you develop skills related to your branch.
