It is like, Ronaldo or Messi. Both are greats but difficult to choose. Same goes with HC verma and DC pandey, both are greats in their own aspects.

I don't think there will be any Financial issue(if it is then please post your address, i will send you my books which i used for the prepration) because the cost of HC verma is not that high. Considering you must be going to any tutuions or coaching classes then go for DC Pandey as it is Problems oriented book hence you can solve as many questions you want by following your coaching notes.

But if want to build your concepts from the scratch then please please go for MEssi( HC Verma).

Hello Purbayan, see HC Verma is good but it is a general science . It is not specially for IITJEE but DC Pandey, it is specially for JEE . DC Pandey has a good variety of questions. Single choice MCQ, Multiple Choice MCQ, Integer type , comprehension etc. So if you have to take my advice, i will suggest you to buy D.C Pandey but one thing i also want to tell you that you have to buy all the 5 books of D.C Pandey i.e. the complete series of books of D.C Pandey and it might be a bit expensive but trust me if money is not a factor to consider for you, i think you should definitely go for D.C Pandey. All the best for your future endeavours.
