Both of the specialization that you have mentioned are good and both are quite a lot in demand. The decision lies in what you are interested in and what is your passion among these 2. Data science is the field of handling, sorting, managing and accomodating efficiently all the data that is processed and collected for further better analysis and research uses. AI and ML is for the robotics and the artificial brain and sensored aspects of the industry which includes building self working model of robots used for various purposes

Dear applicant honestly if you consider, Computer Science Engineering stream would smoothly lead to your dream of becoming a software engineer. But Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology are interrelated stream, so if you are getting an opportunity to add Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning with it then it would be a wise choice as Artificial Intelligence in the upcoming future will be the basis of Technology. But if you wish to stick to CSE course you can do that as well, Data Science knowledge will be added up to your CSE course outcome to increase your chances of selection during interviews. So don't get panicked your hard work will lead you to success, you can choose either of them.
